Last year I received this perpetual birthday calendar from my friend in Germany. The illustrations are by Silke Leffler and are quite enchanting. It sits all by itself on a wall that leads from the kitchen into the dining room. It needs to be moved to a more friendly corner where I can actually pay attention to it. I had no idea she was such a famous artist! Thanks for filling me in Suzanne!
